There is a lot our family like about visiting the Empire State: Manhattan, the North Fork, The Tanger Outlets, the Aquarium in Riverhead, H & M-However, this all pales in comparison to the Mecca that is Jim's Deli; in particular, the Holy Grail of breakfast sandwiches-The Hungry Man.
This sandwich is as exotic to them as cusine from a third world country. Why? Well, they live in the South and northeastern style deli food is not something they are used to (even with all the NY transplants this kind of thing doesn't seem to have caught on).
In any event, Jim's might as well call the Hungry Man the Kitchen Sink since almost everything is in it; eggs, cheese, hash browns, ham bacon on a 10 inch hero...What is not to love?
