Mark and Lynn discover cHarissa on Long Island's North Fork

Lynn found this Harissa at a Farmer's Market in Mattituck, NY.  Named here cHarissa this version is a nice combination of sweetness and heat and we have enjoyed using it conventionally as a marinade and somewhat unconventionally as a substitute for oil in salad dressings we have created.  cHarissa is the creation of a retired Long Island couple named Earl and Gloria Fultz and is fairly easy to find on the East End of Long Island.  Lynn and I are very glad to add this to our pantry as both a compliment and alternative to Sriracha.
