Lynn and I and our friend Beth finally went to venerable Sperry's in Saratoga Springs. Sperry's is over 80 years old and its sexy, masculine decor (warm wood, antique racing photos) is a nice combination of a traditional Speakeasy, a Rat Pack hangout and something Damon Runyon would have dreamed up.
We got there for an early dinner and sat at the bar. I had some juicy Oysters from the raw bar and Lynn had a decadent yellow sole. Mainly though we were impressed with the expertise of our mixologist, Jared Horton who whipped up a few world class Negronis for us that lingered in our memories for days afterwards....
