Lynn and I recently revisited some beloved haunts of ours one of which was Aldo's Coffee in Greenport on the North Fork of Long Island. We have enjoyed his handiwork for years and were amused by his offbeat charm and one of our early posts about him remains one of our most well trafficked. It was great to see the man himself looking well and acting the same (funny and entertaining) and it was nice to simply catch up to him. He concocted a fragrant shot of espresso for me and Lynn indulged in a creamy Americano and his own brand of Biscotti.
